West Texas

Spending the last four consecutive Spring Breaks shooting West Texas has solidified my obsession with this region. It's such a vast and muted landscape. In this same time frame I had been heavily experimenting with various color chemistry recipes to overly exaggerate the desolate landscape. Using well water from Terlingua, Tx to mix the color chemistry allows me to physically tie the region to my negatives. These are selections of my favorite frames from the entire series.

I love West Texas.
