silence is golden

Sometimes words are completely unnecessary. I was waiting at the crosswalk in downtown Houston where I frequently look for people to photograph. I saw this couple slowly crossing so I readied my camera for a composition on these two. As they looked in my direction and noticed I was going to photograph them, they stopped in the middle of the street and stood still so I could photograph them. After I had captured a few composed frames, they then proceeded to be on their way. we only exchanged a quick nod and silent "thank you" for the exchange.
